Ever since I was a little boy, I've always wanted to be a teacher. Teaching is a huge part of my family and everyday life style. Both my sister and dad are teachers, so one could say that it "run's in the blood". Being exposed to teaching my whole life, I've wondered how different teaching methods and strategies alter ones learning experience. I know that many teachers, Dr. Carter included, use Second Life as a tool in their every day classroom. With such a strong following, the education part of Second Life has really intrigued me and makes me wonder: What are the advantages of using Second Life as a teaching method? With that being said, I was determined to find out as much information as possible about my research question.
